Ms. Prospect is sired by Granite’s Mr. Extra 232X, a bull grand-sired by Post Rock Granite 200P2 that was owned in a partnership between our farm and a fellow local Gelbvieh breeder, Billy Painter. Ms. Prospect’s dam is Black Mary Lou 6035S, a JBOB Carolina 3956L ET female that was one of the top calf-raisers on our farm. Ms. Prospect was raised on our farm and sold as an open heifer to a repeat customer and good friend of our farm, Kendall Traxler of Utica, Mississippi – Mr. Traxler allowed our farm to purchase Ms. Prospect back in late 2014 after we lost Ms. Prospect’s dam.
