Governace was purchased by Kittle Farms as the top-selling bull in the 2011 Seedstock Plus Missouri Bull Sale. At the time, he produced a 1,212 pound yearling weight and a 769 pound weaning weight off of a 72 pound birth weight.
 
Governace is in the Top 10 percent of the breed for Birth Weight, Milk, Heifer Pregnancy, 30 month Pregnancy, Stayability, DMI, and Yield Grade. He ranks in the Top 1 percent of all Bulls in the breed for the American Gelbvieh Association’s $COW maternal trait selection index.
